At JAPAN LUXURY CULTURE EXHIBITION, held during the Cannes Film Festival, create ebara silk jacquard was used for a dress by Maison MUNETAKA YOKOYAMA.

On an international stage for fashion, Japanese weaving rose as a dress.
The venue was TIME France House in Cannes, France. The event, hosted by JFCA, presented the Japanesque Sustainable Formal collection by Maison MUNETAKA YOKOYAMA.
Silk jacquard patterns cultivated for kimono are extended into a global language of formalwear. create ebara has expanded delicate Tango weaving techniques to a world-standard 112 cm width.
For Japanese silk to appear as a dress on an international stage embodies our ongoing challenge: carrying the genetic legacy of kimono to the world.
Cannes Show Scene
In quiet light, the presence of silk comes forward.
At TIME France House, the dresses carried the atmosphere of the show while reflecting the depth and elegance of Tango weaving.

Dresses worn in Cannes, paired with the fabrics actually used.
Current Gradation is woven from premium silk yarn, expressing gradation through weaving. Its flowing jacquard pattern and delicate woven gradation reveal a refined play of luster and shadow, with the moisture-retaining softness unique to silk.
