about “create ebara”

創業者の江原房治が、「筆１本で創められる」と着物の織り柄の型「紋紙」を作る会社「江原紋工所」を創業。その紋工の技術を活かし、織機の導入を機に会社を設立。産業を生み出すような会社でありたいということから、「江原産業」という名称になりました。シルク専門で織柄のデザイン（紋紙）から始まった会社のため、お客様のご要望に応じたシルクテキスタイルを作るのに長けた会社です。

“Ebara Textile Design” was founded by Fusaji Ebara with “a single brush” as a company that produces “patterned paper” with imprints of textile patterns for kimono fabric. The company was established with the use of our unique patterning technique and the introduction of looms. As our company had a vision to kickstart a new industry, it was named “Ebara Sangyo.” With our roots in the design of textile patterns (patterned paper) and specializing in silk materials, Ebara Sangyo excels at the production of silk textiles according to the needs of customers.

Tango,Kyoto Japan

丹後は「丹後ちりめん」と呼ばれる着物の生地を製織する国内最大のシルク産地です。
現在でも着物の生地の70％は丹後の生地が使われています。
丹後の製織の歴史は長く、2020年、丹後ちりめんは創業300年を迎えました。
2017年には「300年を紡ぐ絹が織り成す丹後ちりめん回廊」として丹後ちりめんが日本遺産に登録されました。
近年では、毎年パリコレに採用されるなど海外からの評価も高く、「丹後テキスタイル」に世界が注目しています。

Tango is the largest silk production area in Japan for weaving kimono fabric called "Tango Chirimen. Even today, 70% of kimono fabrics are made in Tango. Tango has a long history of weaving, and in 2020, Tango Chirimen celebrated its 300th anniversary; in 2017, Tango Chirimen was registered as a Japan Heritage site as "Tango Chirimen Corridor, where 300 years of spinning silk is woven together. In recent years, Tango textiles have been highly acclaimed overseas, as seen in its use in the Paris Collection every year, and the world is paying attention to Tango textiles.
